After having been in lockdown as everyone else for so long we are happy that it´s finally turning into an “open up”! Italy is one of the leading countries in Europe as far as the vaccination program goes and everyone is more than ready for summer and looking forward to welcoming visitors for their well deserved vacation.
June is always a magical month in the Piemonte. You can spend most of the day and evening outside and enjoy all that nature has to offer. We are happy to see our kiwi in the making and how beautifully their leaves and the roses add to the house. We are looking forward to the kiwi harvest – but first summer!
We are thrilled that all shops and restaurants are open and that we can start frequenting second hand shops again (mercantini). We enjoy finding furniture and or paintings which we then restore and can use for our house or for the apartments. These chairs eg do not look like this anymore…
